What makes Curious Minds different?
We’re a small, family-owned program in Fort Collins offering an exclusive, highly personalized learning experience. Our low ratios, fresh seasonal meals, and curated curriculum make us a unique choice for families who value quality and connection.
What curriculum do you use?
We follow the Core Knowledge Sequence enhanced with classical education and Montessori-inspired practices. Our focus is school readiness, character development, motor growth, and a lifelong love of learning.
How do you prepare children for school?
Our program includes phonics, handwriting, number concepts, and science exploration, paired with social-emotional skill building and motor development.
Do you provide meals?
Yes. We serve fresh, seasonal meals prepared in-house. Our menu is nut-free and tailored to meet specific needs, including allergies and sensitivities.
How do you handle food allergies?
We partner closely with families so dietary needs are safely and thoughtfully accommodated. Curious Minds is a 100% nut-free center.
Do you accept CCCAP?
No. Curious Minds is a private, tuition-only center and does not accept CCCAP.
Do you offer Universal Pre-K?
Yes, we offer UPK. Spots are limited due to our boutique size, and we guide families through the application process.
How does enrollment work?
We accept new families through our waitlist. Begin by scheduling a tour. If it feels like the right fit, you’ll be invited to apply and join the waitlist.
What are your class sizes and ratios?
Class sizes are intentionally small to ensure meaningful attention. Ratios vary by age group but are always well below state minimums.
What ages do you serve?
We serve children from 12 months through kindergarten, with age-appropriate curriculum and environments for each stage of development.
What enrichment experiences do children receive?
Children are exposed to classical music, fine art, hands-on science, animal visits, and guest educators. Family events and community partners extend learning beyond the classroom.
How do you partner with families?
We host regular events, promote parent-owned businesses, and maintain strong daily communication with families.
How are your educators supported?
Our educators are experienced and continuously trained in current research and best practices. Every teacher is seen, heard, and valued.
